AerosailTM Blades are very popular with businesses endeavoring to attract the attention of passing trade and home renovators wanting to modernise the facade of their home. They are the perfect choice for partially covering domestic swimming pools and spas.
To obtain maximum effect AerosailTM Blades should have a steep pitch, which means they are best suited to blocking early morning or late afternoon sun. They can also be situated so they have minimal effect on airflow.

Our Peak design is a four or more sided sail with a aluminium center-lifting bracket. We designed it for circumstances where it is not possible to otherwise obtain sufficient "pitch" to minimise unattractive sag ("belly") in the sail.
Our Peak design is a favourite over pools, carports and play equipment because it solves the "pitch" problem and provides a clear open span with no center pole obstruction. This style provides excellent shade coverage because the high point is in the center whilst the low points are evenly around the perimeter.

The AerosailTM Wave is a four or more sided parabolic sail that combines some of the aesthetic appeal of the Blade with the functional benefits of the Skillion. The Wave effect is created by alternating the use of high and low points around the perimeter of the sail. Popular uses include over spas, pools, verandahs, entertaining areas and car parks. AerosailTM Sawtooth concept is two or more sails off the side of a building and attached to perimeter posts in a high low configuration. This concept is aesthetically pleasing and particularly suited to areas that would otherwise be difficult to obtain the necessary fall for rainwater. The sawtooth is an ideal solution where the aesthetics of the Blade is required with the function of a Skillion.  Click on thumbnail for full size

AerosailTM Skillion is a four or more sided pitched sail that is ideal for providing maximum shade for minimal cost. At least one point is attached to a nearby building, which saves on some of the expense for steelwork and foundations.
The Skillion provides very good shade coverage and is very popular with customers who wish to block out the early morning and afternoon sun from side walls and verandahs.

The Summit design is a combination of two or more sails that are connected at regular intervals along a radial cable. This type of design is very strong because the load of the tension is spread evenly around the perimeter of each sail. The design provides good shade coverage and can cover very large spans. The amount of shade coverage can be controlled throughout the seasons because one sail can be easily removed and still maintain the integrity of the whole structure.
This design is popular for large commercial swimming pools, car yards, playgrounds, mining camps and sporting facilities
