A note on how to calculate the area of sail material required:

For any 4 sided object with at least two parallel sides (square, rectangle or parallelogram) Area = (A + B)/2 X (C + D)/2 |

For a triangle Area = ½ Base X Height |

For a circle Area = 3.14 X Radius X Radius |
 |
| For odd shaped areas divide it up into triangles and use method for triangles. |
